Who this is for: Any Barti user experiencing dropped calls on hold. These steps apply to the Yealink T54W and must be completed on each phone individually.
Before you start, you'll need:
Physical access to each Yealink phone
Access to the same network the phones are connected to (so you can reach each phone's web UI from a browser)
Steps
Complete all three steps on one phone before moving to the next. Repeat the full sequence for every phone on your network.
Step 1: Update registration settings
Press OK on the physical phone to display its IP address.
Enter that IP address into a browser to open the phone's web UI.
Navigate to Account → Register.
Set Transport to TLS.
Set Server Host Port to 5061.
Set Server Expires to 300.
Click Confirm.
Wait 30 seconds, then confirm that Register Status shows Registered.
Step 2: Update advanced settings
Navigate to Account → Advanced.
Set Keep Alive Interval to 15.
Set SIP Registration Retry Timer to 30.
Click Confirm.
Step 3: Reboot the phone
Navigate to Settings → Upgrade → Reboot.
After the phone restarts, confirm that Register Status still shows Registered.
Repeat Steps 1–3 on each remaining phone before moving on.
What you'll see when it works
After completing all three steps and rebooting, the phone's Register Status shows Registered. Calls placed on hold should remain connected.
Troubleshooting
Register Status shows something other than Registered after step 1
Wait the full 30 seconds before checking. If the status still doesn't show Registered, double-check that Transport is set to TLS and Server Host Port is 5061, then click Confirm again.
Register Status shows something other than Registered after rebooting
If the phone loses registration after the reboot, re-enter the settings from Steps 1 and 2 — they may not have saved before the reboot. Click Confirm in each section, wait 30 seconds to verify registration, then reboot again.
Calls are still dropping after completing these steps on all phones
