Baton is a vetted referral network for licensed, insured, and reputable home service companies. We operate in a way that’s familiar to companies using Google Local Services or Pay Per Call networks — meaning the pros who do best here are the ones who:

  • Answer calls quickly and consistently

  • Have trained staff who can set appointments and handle objections

  • Track marketing performance based on ROI, not just cost per lead

Our network works because members share a vision: keeping customers in trusted hands — even when they can’t take the job themselves.

Industries We Serve

Baton is open to companies in a wide range of home service categories, including (but not limited to):

  • 🪳 Pest control

  • 🦌 Wildlife removal

  • ❄️ HVAC

  • 🚿 Plumbing

  • 🌱 Lawn care and other home services

Many members are active in national or state-level industry associations — that’s where we meet a lot of them — but it’s not a requirement.

Core Eligibility Requirements

We maintain a strict vetting process to protect the reputation of the network. To join, your company must have:

  • Licensing & Insurance: Current, verifiable licenses and insurance for all service areas; bonding if required by your state.

  • Strong Online Reputation: Generally 4.0+ Google rating with a consistent pattern of positive reviews; we also look at how you handle negative feedback.

  • Operational Readiness: Systems in place to respond quickly, book jobs, and provide a professional customer experience.

Peer recommendations from existing members may be considered during the review process.

Standards After You Join

Staying in Baton means continuing to meet our quality standards:

  • Maintain strong call quality and responsiveness

  • Submit only qualified, consent-based leads

  • Pay promptly for valid referrals you receive

  • Respect existing customer relationships (optional Pledge to Protect available)

  • Maintain a professional reputation and resolve customer complaints promptly

Disqualification Risks

We may deny or remove companies for:

  • Consistently poor online reviews or unresolved complaints

  • Non-payment for valid referrals

  • Submitting low-quality or non-consensual leads

  • Soliciting referred customers in violation of the Pledge to Protect

  • Ongoing service issues that damage trust in the network

You’re in Control

Once accepted, you decide:

  • Which services you offer

  • Which ZIP codes you cover

  • What you’ll pay for each referral

  • Which companies you send and receive referrals from
