Why Baton Uses a Prepaid Model

The prepaid system:

  • Prevents service interruptions caused by failed or delayed payments

  • Eliminates surprise billing at the end of a cycle

  • Ensures continuous lead purchasing

  • Simplifies account balance tracking

How the Prepaid System Works

Under the prepaid billing model:

1. You maintain a prepaid balance in your Baton account.

2. The minimum required balance is $200 (you may choose to maintain a higher amount).

3. Lead purchases are deducted directly from your available balance.

4. Referral credits are automatically added back to your balance.

5. When your balance falls below your preset threshold, the card on file is 6. automatically charged to restore your balance to your selected amount.

This automated replenishment ensures your account remains funded without manual intervention.

Managing Your Balance and Settings

You can manage billing preferences in your Baton dashboard:

Here you can:

  • Adjust your preset prepaid balance

  • Set weekly or monthly spend limits

  • Monitor balance activity

Where to View Billing Activity

All deductions and automated replenishment charges appear in:

  • Transactions β€” Detailed balance activity

  • Statements β€” Monthly summaries

  • Invoices β€” Records of replenishment charges and adjustments

You will continue receiving a monthly activity summary outlining:

  • Spend

  • Referral credits

  • Charges

  • Adjustments

What’s Not Changing

The following remain the same:

  • Weekly or monthly spend limits

  • Lead pricing and referral flow

  • Referral credit application

  • Payout timing and processing

Net payouts are still calculated as:

Credits Earned – Charges Incurred = Net Payout
