Authentication
To send a referral to Baton, simply send a request with all the relevant information to our webhook at:
https://hooks.zapier.com/hooks/catch/13417818/3ob8imr/
Make sure to include your API key in the header.
How to get your API key
We currently don't have a self-service API key generator. Contact us and we'll provide you with an API key! As always, this key is sensitive information and should be kept secret.
What does the flow look like?
What you do
Your agent receives a call.
Your agent notifies the caller that you do not service for that particular service need, but that they can connect the caller with a company that does.
Your agent dispositions the call per your process, and your system fires a webhook to Baton with the necessary information for us to connect the caller to another company.
What Baton does
Within seconds Baton interprets the information and identifies the right partner provider for the caller.
Baton sends a text to the caller with the provider's information.
Baton sends the caller's information to the matched provider.
Baton credits you a portion of the provider's referral fee.
