Referrals happen for a number of reasons, and depending on the reason, the referral process may vary. Referral reasons fall into one of two categories:

“Needs service now

These are callers that reached you in search of a service they need right now. They have an immediate service need and make up the vast majority of referrals passed through Baton.

  • Service not offered

  • Out-of-service range

  • Not accepting new customers right now

  • Job too big or too small

  • Can’t service customers fast enough

“Needs service later

These callers are usually those who currently or previously held a service relationship with you but are now moving to another area or state that you service. They require service later, usually around when they plan to move into their new home.

  • Moving to another state
