If I have worked one year for my sponsor, and I still have not received my Green Card, can I stop working there?

We recommend not terminating your employment without having a Green Card. In fact, both BDV and your employer hope you will be able to stay with your company long-term and grow with them. At any rate, your case could be negatively affected if you stop work before getting the Green Card.

If I receive my Green Card before I have worked one year for my sponsor, can I stop working there?

Even if you received your Green Card early, you should uphold the contract you signed with BDV, which was to work for at least 12 months.
