If you live in the U.S. and change your address, in addition to changing your address with USPS, it is important that you update USCIS with your new U.S. residential address within 10 days of your move. Failure to do so could have a negative impact on your case, since wrong address with USCIS might cause delay or loss of very important documents for your case, such as USCIS notices, EAD cards, green cards or SSN cards. Change of address is done by completing Form AR-11. The good news is that USCIS has made the process quick, easy, and available through your online USCIS account. Please follow the instructions on their website: https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange.
