For BDV's general info on Housing, check out this article.

Here is a housing resource you may want to check out:

According to their website, the company PadSplit offers:

-flexible stays

-fast move-ins

-trusted co-living

Here's the great thing:

Each roommate has their own individual contract with PadSplit instead of with a landlord. That means you don't need to worry about a roommate leaving you with paying the balance of rent if you are the only person left in your house.

You can also bring several friends from BDV working in the same city and rent a place together through PadSplit.

Click "Find a Room" on www.padsplit.com and you can see they have housing in many of the major cities where BDV sponsors exist.

Most landlords require proof of income. However, if you do not have a current or former job, and if you haven't started your EB-3 job yet, you can pay 8-12 weeks' of rent up front, which will remove your income requirement.

PadSplit is best for singles or couples wanting to share rent with others but also wanting individual private and secure rooms. This resource is not recommended for families with children.

PadSplit could also be a good option for short-term while you look for more permanent housing. They have a 31-day minimum contract, which is renewable after that.

You can pay rent weekly or bi-weekly.

Disclaimer: BDV does not provide formal roommate-matching services. Remember to use caution and safety in selecting your living location and roommates. BDV is not responsible for any housing/roommate issues that may arise.
