A hashtag is used to categorize keywords on Beam.gg. We've created this feature to allow users to easily follow topics and join conversations they are interested in.

Use hashtags by typing #keywords without spaces, punctuation, or symbols. Choose from existing hashtags in the community or create your own!

When creating new hashtags, simply type your #keyword/s, and it will automatically be added as a new hashtag as soon as the post is published.

Creating new hashtags only work in the description box of a poll or text post. New hashtags cannot be created in post titles and comments. Only existing hashtags can be used in the comments section.
