The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program to encourage foreign investors to invest in US projects to create full-time American jobs. To qualify for a conditional green card through EB-5, you must invest a minimum of $1,050,000* in a US business. If your investment is located in a rural or high unemployment area (i.e. a targeted employment area or TEA), you may invest $800,000.* To obtain a permanent green card without conditions, you must prove that your investment created at least 10 full-time jobs for US workers.

*The investment levels are increasing to $800,000 (TEA) and $1.05 million (non-TEA) under the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022. (read more)

The investor, spouse and unmarried children under 21 can receive a green card through a single EB-5 investment.
