The minimum investment required for EB-5 varies depending on where the EB-5 project is located.

**The EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 was became law on March 15, 2022.**

Under the new law, if the project is located in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA), the capital required is $800,000. For projects in non-TEAs, the capital required is $1.05 million.

In addition to the minimum investment amount, the EB-5 investor should be prepared for various costs and fees in support of their EB-5 application.

Behring hosted a webinar on the New EB-5 Law on March 14, 2022. You can register to watch the replay where Behring discusses the EB-5 reform bill and what it means to you as an EB-5 investor.

If you would like to learn more about the potential changes through EB-5 reform or about Behring's lawsuit, we welcome you to schedule a free EB-5 consultation call with the Behring team.
