The minimum investment required for EB-5 varies depending on where the EB-5 project is located.
**The EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 was became law on March 15, 2022.**
Under the new law, if the project is located in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA), the capital required is $800,000. For projects in non-TEAs, the capital required is $1.05 million.
In addition to the minimum investment amount, the EB-5 investor should be prepared for various costs and fees in support of their EB-5 application.
