Unfortunately in life, we may find ourselves dealing with the death of a loved one. Life Insurance claims, depending on coverage, may be for the insured or a dependent which includes partner and children.
The first step is to find out if your departed has Life Insurance through their Employer's plan, and whom was named the Beneficiary.
You can do this by either contacting the Employer or the Insurers or Administrators Life Claim department.
A Life Claim form needs to be completed by the Beneficiary and this form can be downloaded www.beneplan.ca or call 416-863-6718.
