TAC stands for ‘Total Active Cannabinoids’ and represents the percentage of active components of that particular batch and strain. It also accounts for the 12% loss of cannabinoids either during decarboxylation (when heat is applied, e.g. when you smoke the flower) or just natural degradation over time, that is why the TAC can be lower than the THCa or CBDa.
