After sharing a story on Twitter or Facebook, the story headline and thumbnail will be displayed on the preview card. When updating story information after the initial card is created, these platforms may not update the cards right away (or at all in some cases).
To force the updates:
Go to the Twitter Card Validator tool.
Paste the Forbes story URL.
Click Preview card. You will see the updated Twitter Card.
Go to the Facebook debugger tool.
Paste the Forbes story URL and click Debug.
Click Scrape again (you may have to press this button a few times). You will see the updated Facebook card.
Go to the LinkedIn Post Inspector tool.
Paste the Forbes story URL and click Inspect to refresh the data.
