How To Style Direct Quotes or Excerpts Written By Others In Your Story

When you want to directly quote the works of others in your story, you can use Citations to properly style them.

To Add a Citation:

Highlight any text in the paragraph you'd like to style as a Citation and select the citation icon:

The Citation text will look like this:

To Remove A Citation:

Highlight any text in the Citation and deselect the Citation icon:

Citations Versus Pull Quotes:

Citations are used to differentiate a section of quoted text, text from a source other than the story, from the text around it. When used correctly, it can enhance text content.
Pull Quotes are made up of text that is pulled from existing text in the story—that is, duplicated—and presented on the page as an attention-grabbing visual element.
