Accessing the Feature From the Text Formatting Menu
Highlight text you would like to hyperlink to open the text formatting menu.
Hover on the hyperlink icon on the far right, and click on the affiliate button above.
Affiliating Links and Adding to the Body
Within the modal, insert the product link that you would like to affiliate and hyperlink.
Click "Apply."
Wait for the affiliate to generate successfully (this might take a few seconds) and click "Add."
If the affiliate link fails to generate, you can still click "Add" to hyperlink the purchase link to the article to save your work so you can go back and affiliate the link later.
Differentiating Links in the Body
Regular hyperlinks, affiliate links, and purchase links will all have different styling so that you can easily differentiate them from one another when editing.
Copy & Pasting Behavior
Copy & Pasting affiliate hyperlinked text within the same story: affiliate links and their green styling will be retained
Copy & Pasting affiliate hyperlinked text to a new story: affiliate links will be stripped, but purchase links will be retained and show up with a red underline. This way, you can easily identify which links need to be affiliatized again so that they are unique to the article.
