Communication is key in when you are thinking of increasing the number of online donations you get. A press release to the local or regional press can sometimes be a great way to tell people about your nonprofit in a new way.

NOTE - Comments/words in red are for editing as appropriate and should not be sent out as is.

Whilst ‘location X’ is geographic, you may want to change that to be a more specific headline for you. The example we use in the file below could read “How De Moine’s first charity to use...” if you were sending this to a local newspaper.

For use on your own site, then changing it to first person will be needed. changing ‘them

’ to ‘

us’ for example.

Also, adding a picture about your work or people in is often key for getting something published.
