Using a debt or credit card for large donations can sometimes rack up the fees.

We STRONGLY suggest you check out using the direct bank transfer method to donate large sums (either recurring or a one off) so as to avoid the 2.4% card transfer fees.

Bank transfer fees are often a matter of $20-50 maximum, so for donations in the thousands, that may well be worthwhile considering.

Crypto: transaction fees on the blockchain can be even less, so also consider donating crypto if you have access to crypto exchanges or wallets.

For large crypto donations, it can be even cheaper to donate directly to wallets owned by Better Giving - please contact us on support@better.giving if you wish to donate large sums of crypto currency.
