Exporting donor history is common across the sector — losing your data isn't the real risk. BUT losing your recurring donors is!
Card-on-file gifts are usually tokenized inside a donation processor, and almost no donation platform will migrate those tokens to a competitor — so they may say "free to leave" but it can still mean abandoning your steadiest revenue.
Obviously, we would love for you to stay, but if you do leave, we can facilitate a migration of recurring donors to whatever new system you are using at NO cost to your nonprofit.
