iOS - How to regrant permissions

You change/edit permissions for the app in your device's Setting>App

There are two options to choose from…

Directly from the BetterYou app:

  1. Open the BetterYou app

  2. Tap on PROFILE in the bottom menu

  3. Tap on PERMISSIONS to open the menu

  4. Tap on the "Open App Permissions" a the bottom of the permissions page....this will open the BetterYou app settings on your device.

  5. Toggle the switches from grey to green

  6. Tap on BetterYou (it's tiny, and at the very top left of the screen...) to return to the app

  7. Touch, and pull down on the screen to refresh the app.

  8. Double-check permissions (See steps 2-3 above). If you see "Currently granted" and the check marks are teal, then you're good to go!

Directly from the Settings app on your device:

  1. Find the BetterYou app in the list of apps on your device

  2. Open the app-settings by tapping on the > symbol

  3. Manually toggle the appropriate permission to "green" again

If for some reason you cannot complete these steps you will need to uninstall/reinstall

the BetterYou app and try again.
