Connecting to Google Fit in BetterYou allows you to see your steps progress so we can build your steps habit together!

Google Fit is a free and open Fitness tracking platform that easily integrates fitness activity from various sources. You can connect other apps (like Samsung Health or Fitbit), to Google Fit to use your favorite activity tracker.

Google Fit is the default steps platform that BetterYou integrates to on Android devices due to it's inclusion on all Android phones out of the box.

How do I connect?

You can connect to Google Fit when you set up your steps goal, initially. If you have disconnected Google Fit in the past, you will need to click into your steps goal, click the gear icon at the top right, and select 'Enable Google Fit' or if you're already connected, it will show 'Google Fit requested'.

If you are still having trouble, please contact our support team in the app or by emailing help@betteryou.ai

Disconnecting

You can disconnect anytime by going to Google Fit settings.

Additional Data Disclosures for our Google Fit Integration

BetterYou's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
