How to Reset Your Password
If you've forgotten your password for the BetterYou app, don't worry! We have a simple process in place to help you reset it and get back to using our app.
Step 1: Access the Forgot Password Option
- Open the BetterYou app 
- Navigate to the Login screen 
- Look for the "Forgot password?" link below the password field 
- Tap on the "Forgot password?" link 
Step 2: Enter Your Email Address
- You'll be taken to the Forgot Password screen 
- Enter the email address associated with your BetterYou account 
- Make sure to enter the correct email to ensure you receive the password reset instructions 
- Tap "Send Reset Link" 
Step 3: Check Your Email
- After submitting your email, you'll see a confirmation message: "Password reset link sent to your email" 
- Check your email inbox (and spam/junk folder) for an email from BetterYou 
- The email will contain a link to reset your password 
Step 4: Reset Your Password
- Click on the password reset link in the email 
- You'll be taken to a web page where you can enter your new password 
- Enter your desired new password 
- Make sure to choose a strong and secure password to protect your account 
Step 5: Log In with Your New Password
- Once you've successfully reset your password, return to the BetterYou app 
- Go to the Login screen 
- Enter your email and new password 
- Tap "Log In" to access your account 
Important Notes
Email Delivery
- Password reset emails are sent immediately after you submit your request 
- If you don't see the email, check your spam/junk folder 
- Make sure the email address you entered is correct 
Password Requirements
When creating your new password, ensure it meets our security requirements:
- At least 8 characters long 
- Contains at least one uppercase letter 
- Contains at least one lowercase letter 
- Contains at least one special character 
Security
- Password reset links are time-sensitive for security 
- Never share your password reset link with anyone 
- If you didn't request a password reset, contact support immediately 
Troubleshooting
Common Issues
- Email not received: Check spam/junk folder, verify email address is correct 
- Link expired: Request a new password reset link 
- Can't access reset page: Ensure you're using the link from the email, not copying and pasting
