How to use Beventi to take payments while at an event

If you’re selling books while at an event, you can use Beventi to process payments. Here’s how to set it up.

Set up a direct sales form for the event

  1. Go to Direct Sales on the left-side menu, and select the Create Direct Sale Form button.

  2. Enter a title for the form. Many users will include the event name in the form title so they can easily identify it. Add a short description, select the currency you’ll be processing transactions in, and optionally add a close date (the day after the event is a common option here, so no one orders after the event has ended).

  3. Turn the Private toggle on so only readers you give the link to will be able to access.

  4. Create the form.

  5. Select the products you will be selling at the event, and add them to the form.

  6. Under the Delivery tab, turn off the shipping toggle and enter instructions for readers to pick up their book at the event.

  7. Publish the form

Share the form with readers at the event

  1. Under the Share tab in your order form, you will find your form’s link and QR codes.

  2. Download the QR code to add it to your marketing materials, so readers at the event can easily access the form and make a purchase while at your table or booth.
