Base price plus amount per quantity in order
The "base + price per quantity" pricing model starts with a fixed initial cost for the first unit of the product. Then, for each additional unit ordered, an extra amount is added to the total cost. This structure ensures that the first item purchased has a set price, and subsequent items cost an additional, predetermined amount. This pricing strategy is commonly used to encourage bulk purchases, as it effectively lowers the average cost per unit when larger quantities are ordered.
