A bike can be returned to any one of the bikeMi stations.

In order to return a bike, the free dock of a station must have a green light πŸ‘‡

The steps for a correct return of the bike are as foolows:

  1. Lift the bike up from the handlebar;

  2. be sure that the pins under the basket are in upright;

  3. put the pins in the 2 holes of the station's dock;

  4. wait that the light of the docking point stops blinking and return steady green;

  5. wait for a while and lift the handlebar up for checking that the bike is blocked;

  6. if the light of the dock continues to blink, move the handlebar and push it slightly forward;

  7. check that the light of the dock is steady green again.

At the end of the trip, if the bike has been returned correctly, you will see the following screenshot on the app πŸ‘‡

You will also receive an email to the email adress that is reported in your bikeMi profile.

You will be able to see the trip's summary in the 'Trip History' section and the eventual accrued tariffs of use in the 'Payments' section.

Finally, please check that the app is updated to the latest version.

Important: After the bike is returned to a station, it is necessary to wait 5 minutes before starting a new trip.

In the case of a bike being returned to a station within the first 3 minutes of use (for example because of a damage on the bike itself), you can start a new trip immediately and without any cost.
