1. Why can't I remove locked artifacts?

Artifacts attached to competencies lock once you submit your self-assessment. This preserves them from being altered during the assessment workflow and also helps protect academic integrity. 

2. Why can't I attach new work to a competency I submitted?

You can attach and remove artifacts from a competency only when it is waiting on you for assessment or re-assessment. You can contact your BILD Local Mentor if you need a competency assessment returned to you.

3. How do I switch competency sets?

If a course module permits you to switch from the October 2007 competency set to the October 2018 competency set, you may do so from within the course. If available, you can switch back and forth between competency sets.

  1. Open the course module.

  2. Click on the hamburger menu icon.

  3. Select a competency set and then confirm the switch.
