Daily Report Email Subscriptions in Billy: Get Reports Delivered Every Day

Report email subscriptions in Billy now support a Daily frequency — get your compliance reports delivered every day, in addition to the existing Weekly and Monthly options.

Written by Nyasha Gutsa

Overview

Report email subscriptions in Billy now include a Daily frequency option. Alongside the existing Weekly and Monthly schedules, you can choose Daily to have your subscribed report delivered to your inbox every single day — perfect for project teams that need a fresh compliance snapshot each morning instead of waiting for a weekly send.

Why This Matters

On active projects, compliance changes fast — certificates expire, vendors upload new COIs, and statuses flip from non-compliant to compliant overnight. With a weekly subscription, your team could only pick one day of the week to receive the report, which meant working from data that was up to six days old. The new Daily option keeps project managers, compliance admins, and field teams working from today's numbers, every day, with zero manual exporting.

How to Set Up a Daily Report Subscription

  1. Open the report you want delivered by email (for example, a Non-Compliant Report)

  2. Choose the Subscribe / email subscription option for that report

  3. In the frequency setting, select Daily

  4. Save the subscription — Billy will now email the report to you every day

Prefer a less frequent cadence? The existing options are still there: choose Weekly and pick your preferred day of the week, or Monthly for a monthly send.

Changing an Existing Subscription to Daily

Already subscribed to a report on a weekly schedule? Just open the report's subscription settings and switch the frequency from Weekly to Daily. Your recipients and report configuration stay the same — only the delivery cadence changes.

Tips

  • Use Daily for active projects, Weekly for steady-state. A daily send is great while a project is ramping up vendors or chasing non-compliance; once things stabilize, you can switch back to weekly to reduce inbox noise.

  • Different teams can use different cadences. Each subscription has its own frequency, so a project team can receive a report daily while leadership keeps a weekly or monthly view of the same data.

  • Pair daily reports with morning routines. Many teams use the daily email as the start-of-day checklist for compliance follow-ups — everything expiring or non-compliant is right at the top of the inbox.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still choose a specific day of the week?

Yes. The Weekly option works exactly as before — you pick one day of the week for delivery. Daily is a new, additional option for teams that want the report every day.

Does the Daily option send on weekends?

Daily subscriptions send every day. If your team would prefer a weekdays-only schedule, let our support team know — we'd love to hear about your use case.

Will switching to Daily change what's in the report?

No. The frequency only controls how often the report is emailed. The report content, filters, and recipients stay exactly as you configured them — each send simply reflects the latest data at the time it goes out.

Can I switch back to Weekly or Monthly later?

Yes. You can change a subscription's frequency at any time from the report's subscription settings, with no need to delete and recreate it.
