Editing or changing an email address (or contact first/last name) in Billy is easy!
Integrated with Procore or AutoDesk?
If you are using the Procore or AudoDesk integration, contacts automatically sync from Procore/AduDesk and then can be changed in Billy.
Changing a Contact for a Contract (Vendor)
Next to each contract (vendor) within a project click the 3 dots then Edit.
Delete the existing email in the "email" text box, add a new first name and last name, then click Save.
Other contacts on file are also accessible in the dropdown.
Edit a Contact
If an email address, first name, or last name of a contact needs to be edited, navigate to the Directory.
Scroll to find, or use the Search bar to find the vendor, then click the vendor's name to arrive on their Company Profile Page.
Navigate to the Contacts tab, then click the 3 dots to Edit.
Make any adjustments, then click Save.
When Re-Triggering Emails is Necessary after Editing/Changing a Contact
When an email is triggered in Billy, 3 automated reminders are sent, for a total of 4 emails sent over a month. Whenever you change or edit an email contact, the next automated reminder email will be sent to the current email on file.
When the email for a contract (vendor) has been changed, and the contract is on the non-responsive filter, that is when a new request needs to be re-triggered. Check out the non-responsive article for exactly how to re-trigger emails.
PRO TIP
If you are a Managed Plan Partner, please DO NOT re-trigger emails. Use the in-app chat and the Billy Team will re-trigger emails for you.
