A variant is a version of a product where the weight, material composition and sustainability metrics remain the same, but other attributes - such as color, size, or design - differ. Since the product data stays consistent, a variant does not require a separate product page.

Example: A floor with same weight per m2, but with different options of colours will be treated as one product (the colour options will be variants of the products).

Different thickness of the floor will have different weights per m2, and therefore it will be treated as new products.
