Two-factor authentication can be reset for a variety of reasons, including loss of access, switching devices, getting a new phone number, technical issues, or simply wanting to use a different authentication type. Binance.US requires all users to implement at least one method of two-factor authentication for their accounts.

Important: Once you reset your two-factor authentication, there will be a 48-hour withdrawal hold on your account for security reasons, during which you will be unable to withdraw assets.
Mobile Instructions
Reset Two-Factor Authentication to Login via Mobile App
Reset Two-Factor Authentication to Login via Mobile App
1. Enter your Username and Password on the login screen.
2. From the 2FA screen, select Authenticator Issues and then choose option I can't access my Authenticator app anymore.
3. Enter the verification code sent to the email address associated with your Binance.US account. If you do not have access to your email address, you can change your email address here.
4. Select the reason you are looking to reset your 2FA and press Next
5. Select the 2FA method you would like to reset. If you no longer have access to either 2FA method, select both. Then press Confirm Reset.
6. Press Continue and follow the Identity Confirmation steps. To complete these steps, you will need the ID used to verify your Binance.US account.
You will receive a push notification and an email when your request to reset your two-factor authentication has been approved. If you do not have any two-factor authentication methods enabled, you will be prompted to set up a new method the next time you log in.

1. From your home screen, tap the profile icon in the top right.
2. Scroll down and tap Security, then scroll down and tap 2FA is on.
3. Tap on the two-factor authentication you would like to reset (Google Authenticator or SMS Authentication).
5. Tap Reset.
6. A pop-up window will appear asking if you want to proceed with resetting authentication. Tap Reset once more.
For SMS
7a. To reset SMS authentication:
Enter your password
Tap Send SMS.
Enter the code into the "SMS Authentication Code" field.
Tap Next to complete the reset.
If you do not have access to your phone number, tap Issue receiving an SMS below the authentication code field. Follow the steps to confirm your identity and reset your SMS 2FA.
For Google Authenticator
7b. To reset Google Authentication (or another authentication app):
Enter your password
Copy and Paste the code from your authenticator into the Google Authentication Code field.
Tap Next to complete the reset.
If you do not have access to your authenticator, tap Authenticator Issues. Follow the steps to confirm your identity and reset your Google Authenticator.

1. Log in to your Binance US account. Click Security in the drop-down menu in the top-right of your screen.
2. Click on the two-factor authentication method you would like to reset.
3. A pop-up window will appear asking if you want to proceed with resetting authentication. Click Reset once more.
For SMS
4a. To reset SMS authentication:
Enter your password
Click Send Code & Continue
Enter the code into the field
Click Disable Authentication
If you do not have access to your phone number, click Issue receiving an SMS? located below the authentication code field. Follow the steps to confirm your identity and reset your SMS 2FA.
For Google Authenticator
4b. To disable Google Authentication (or another authentication app), enter your password, then:
Enter your password
Copy and Paste the code from your authenticator into the Google Authentication Code field
Click Disable Authentication
While Google Authenticator is the only authentication app listed in the Binance.US interface, most other two-factor authentication apps that provide 6-digit codes are compatible. In which case, you should still select Google Authenticator.
