Microsoft 365 connects from Settings, then Integrations, with one sign-in for your own Microsoft account. It covers Outlook email and calendar, OneDrive, and your company's SharePoint sites, all used live at question time through your own access: you see what your Microsoft account can see, and nothing more. Binee never sees your password.
Work and personal Microsoft accounts both connect the same way: a company Microsoft 365 account or a personal outlook.com, hotmail, or live account. A few capabilities are limited by Microsoft to work and school accounts; where that applies, Binee says so plainly instead of failing with a confusing error. Personal accounts have no SharePoint.
What Binee can do with Microsoft 365
Search your Outlook inbox by keyword, sender, or date, and read full conversations: who said what, when, and what was asked for.
Check your Outlook calendar: what is scheduled, who is attending, and how a meeting connects to the rest of your work, for example whether the client you are meeting tomorrow answered your last email.
Find files in your OneDrive and your company SharePoint sites, see who changed them and when, and read plain-text contents.
Combine it all with your other connected tools: for example, warn you when a task delay breaks a date you promised a client by email.
Making changes from chat
Binee can also act in Microsoft 365 for you, always behind a confirmation card that shows exactly what will happen before anything is sent or changed:
Email: send a new email, reply or reply-all, forward a message with a note, or create a draft you finish yourself in Outlook. The card shows the full text before you confirm; a new email or forward also lists every recipient, while a reply goes to the original sender (or, with reply-all, to everyone on the original message) and the card says which. Example: "reply to Anna that the proposal is approved and we start Monday".
Inbox triage: move a message to a folder, flag it, mark it read or unread, or set categories and importance.
Calendar: create events, including Teams meetings with a join link, accept, tentatively accept, or decline invitations, move an event you organize to a new time, or cancel a meeting you organize. Microsoft sends the invitations and updates to attendees, exactly as if you did it in Outlook. Example: "put a 30 minute call with the Acme team in my calendar for Thursday at 2pm as a Teams meeting".
On work accounts, ask for free meeting slots across colleagues' calendars before booking. This is one of the capabilities Microsoft limits to work and school accounts.
OneDrive: create folders, save a text file (for example, "save this summary to my OneDrive as meeting-notes.md"), rename, move, or copy items, and share a file: a view or edit link, or an invitation to specific people. Sharing that opens a file to anyone with the link always asks for confirmation, every time.
SharePoint (work accounts only): add or update items in your site lists and save text files to a site.
Binee never edits the subject, body, or recipients of an email that already exists in a mailbox, and it never deletes emails, events, or files. The one exception with a delete-like effect is cancelling a meeting you organize, and that always asks for confirmation.
Connected before? Press Reconnect once
If you connected Microsoft 365 before Binee could make changes, your connection has read access only. Everything read-based keeps working. The first time you ask for an action, Binee tells you it needs the extra permissions: open Settings, then Integrations, press Reconnect on the Microsoft 365 card, and approve the added permissions on Microsoft's screen once. After that, actions work.
Company approval
Some companies require a one-time approval by their Microsoft admin before members can connect. The approval connects nothing by itself; every member still signs in with their own account afterwards. If Microsoft shows "Need admin approval" during connection, come back to the Microsoft 365 card: it gives you a link to send your Microsoft admin, and once they approve, press Connect again. Personal accounts have no admin and never need this.
Automations and dashboards
Watcher automations can watch your incoming Outlook email, the same way Gmail watchers work. Example: "Flag it when a client email sounds unhappy, and check whether their project tasks are on track."
Scheduled automations and dashboard cards can include your Outlook email and calendar in daily summaries and charts, read with your own connection.
