Found the piece that you just have to have? Submit a Borrow Request, it’s easy!

Select a Borrow period between 4 and 20 days, setting the start date 1-2 days before the day you need it.
Submit the request at checkout! While waiting for the Lender to accept the request, we place a hold on your card. You will only be charged once the Lender accepts.
Borrowing
Upon acceptance, the Lender will ship the item directly to you via UPS. Tracking will be sent within 3 days of your Borrow start date via SMS.
If you do not receive tracking 3 days before your start date, contact us.
Note: Bipty may ask you to complete a $5 safety deposit as an added safety and security measure for our community. This deposit will be refunded upon the safe return of the piece.
Upon Arrival
The Borrow will arrive on your selected start date. We strive to have all Borrows arrive on time or early. If the Borrow arrives early please enjoy it for a few extra days free of charge.
Upon Arrival please:
Document the item's condition by taking timestamped photos of the piece within 24 hours of arrival. Be sure to keep this for your records in the event a damage claim is opened by the Lender.
In the event you wish to open a claim about the piece's arrival condition, please do so within 24 hours of delivery via the live chat on our website.
Keep both the original packaging and the return label that arrived with your Borrow to use when returning.
Reusing the same package not only keeps Bipty sustainable but also ensuring the item arrives back to the Lender due to the label's pre-set package dimensions.
Returning
On your Borrow end date, pack the item unwashed in the same package it arrived in, using the return label provided by the Lender.

Take the package to your local UPS and snap a picture of the tracking receipt you receive. We will reference this tracking receipt in the event of shipping delays or loss.
DO NOT ship out via USPS or dropbox. All returns MUST be made via UPS.
Returning Multiple Borrows
If you are Borrowing multiple items, double check you are shipping the correct item with the correct label. If you need to clarify which item goes with which label, contact us before shipping.
Borrowers are liable for additional fees incurred or items lost when shipping back to the incorrect Lender.
