My item arrived, what's next?

The Borrow will arrive on your selected Start Date. We strive to have all Borrows arrive on time or early. If the Borrow arrives early please enjoy it for a few extra days free of charge.

Upon Arrival please:

Document the item's condition by taking timestamped photos of the piece within 24 hours of arrival. Be sure to keep this for your records in the event a damage claim is opened by the Lender.

In the event you wish to open a claim about the piece's arrival condition, please do so within 24 hours of delivery via the live chat on our website.

Keep both the original packaging and the return label that arrived with your Borrow to use when returning.

Reusing the same package not only keeps Bipty sustainable but also ensuring the item arrives back to the Lender due to the label's pre-set package dimensions.


How long does shipping take?

All Borrows are shipped with UPS 3-Day Select. To guarantee the best possible experience, we ask that Borrowers book at least 7 days in advance to allow the Lender time to prepare and ship your item.

Please review your dates to check if any federal holidays occur during the Borrow period that would delay the shipment of the item either to or from you.

Example: Memorial Day falls on a Monday and slows the shipment process, with some UPS stores being closed in observance of the holiday.


What if my Borrow arrives late?

You are eligible for a refund if your item does not arrive in time for your event. Always set your start date 1-2 days before you plan to wear the piece as we cannot guarantee the time of day it will be delivered.


My piece arrived early, will I be charged?

Glad to hear your piece arrived early! We strive for pieces to arrive earlier rather than later! Please enjoy your Borrow for a few extra days free of charge.
