How do I list an item?

Congrats! You’re taking the first step to turning your closet into your biggest asset. Ready to list? We make it simple:

  1. Head to the Lend Page on our site, and click List an Item.

  2. Fill out the submission form with all info (size, retail value, description, etc.)

  3. Submit! Our team will review your piece and if approved, your item will go live in 5 business days.

What kind of pieces should I list?

To maintain the high-quality selection of our shared wardrobe, we ask that listed items be less than 2 years old, be in great condition, and have a retail value above $150.

What pieces should I not list?

Our goal is to create a shared wardrobe that gives members access to premier, luxury brands in a sustainable manner, and to do so we do not accept any fast fashion brands.

We also do not accept vintage pieces, shoes, accessories, or handbags.

How is pricing set for each item?

During the submission process you can set your price and see exactly how much you will earn with our custom pricing calculator.

Don’t worry, if you think your piece may be priced too low or too high our product team will adjust item pricing based on real time customer data to maximize your Borrow Requests.

How much do I make?

You earn 85% of the item price, more on that here.

Note you can see the detailed breakdown of how much you make with our custom pricing calculator on the submission page.

Do I need to take photos of my item?

We like to make the Lending process as easy for you as possible! Simply provide us with a link to the item on the retailer’s site, we’ll source the product photos so you don’t have to!

Please also share any photos you have of yourself wearing the item. Lenders with high-quality photos of themselves in the listed item tend to receive more Borrow Requests as the Borrower is able get a real sense of size and fit.

I can't find a URL for my item, what should I do?

Not having a URL to a piece is usually a signifier that this piece does not meet our requirement of being less than 2 years old.

What is a Lender Note?

This is the most important part of your submission! It is your opportunity to sell your piece to the Borrower. Remember that the Borrower can't try the piece on before their special event so a detailed Lender Note gives them a clear idea of how the item will fit.

Describe the fit, how it wears, how you like to style it, where you wore the item, and how it makes you feel! Be sure to include your body shape, measurements, and any other helpful details the Lender may want to know, the more descriptive the better.

Since Borrowers rely exclusively on the Lender note to determine fit, it’s paramount that you get detailed with your Lender Note.
