How do I update an item?

Our Lender Dashboard is currently being created which will allow you to view all your Listings and Borrows in one place and edit, pause, and retire them yourself!

In the meantime, we're here to help! Simply contact us via the live chat button on the site to request any edits to your piece and we will do so on your behalf.

How do I pause my wardrobe?

If you are going out of town or need to pause your wardrobe for any reason, you can simply contact us via the live chat button on the site with the requested dates and pieces and we will pause your wardrobe on your behalf.

We highly recommend pausing your wardrobe whenever you are traveling, moving, or in any other event where you may not be able to fulfill Borrow Requests for a prolonged period of time. This allows you to maintain good standing as a Lender.

Any Lender who is unresponsive to repeated Borrow Requests risks account deactivation.

How do I retire an item?

The goal of Bipty is for beloved pieces to be shared repeatedly to expand the usable lifespan and do good for the planet.

If you sell your piece or give it away to a friend, please let us know as soon as possible so we may retire it on the site.

We recommend retiring pieces if you see signs of noticeable wear and tear after repeated use. This will prevent further damage so you can enjoy it for years to come.

If your piece has made it to the end of its life cycle, simply contact us via the live chat button on the site and we will retire the piece for you.
