Using the Birdie Medication Manager, you can digitise your client's medication schedules as well as monitor the outcomes using our EMAR.
How to create a medication schedule
Use the search bar to start typing in the medication required. A drop down will show and you can choose the correct one by clicking it. Our Medication Manager database is linked to the NHS database so any medication prescribed in the UK will be present.
If you're unable to find your preferred medication dosage, please ensure you have spelled the medication correctly. (Search the medication on Google to check your spelling).

Select the correct medication and follow the steps below:
Choose what support is needed with the medication
Add the dose for this medication (ie: 2 tablets)
Specify what type of medication this is. Is it a scheduled medication, a PRN, or part of a blister pack?
Add how often the medication is supposed to be taken daily
Choose whether to schedule the medication at specific times or during time periods*
Click on Add schedule, set a start date and add a stop date if there is one
Add any additional instructions like a body map or notes, this will be visible by your care staff in their app
Click on Add medication to schedule
