For security reasons, the Bit1 platform only allows one active session per user at a time.
This means that if you log into your account from a new device or browser, the session that was previously active will automatically close.
Example
If you perform the following actions:
1. Log in to Bit1 on the web from your computer.
2. Then log in to the web from your phone.
The session that was open on the computer will automatically close.
The same will happen if you log in again from your computer: the session on the phone will be closed.
Why does this happen?
This measure is implemented as part of the platform’s security policies to:
• Protect your account from unauthorized access.
• Prevent multiple devices from using the same session simultaneously.
• Reduce risks in case a device becomes exposed.
Can I have multiple sessions open at the same time?
Currently, it is not possible to maintain multiple active sessions on different devices at the same time. Only one device can have an active session.
If you need to switch devices, simply log in again and the previous session will close automatically.
Why does my session close when I log in from another device?
