Bitsgap does not have an option to access your exchange wallet and make any changes there. Your funds will always stay on your exchange account.

And here is why: To use Bitsgap services you only need to enable permissions to trade and read balance, the withdrawal option should be disabled. If our system notice that the API key you are trying to add is allowing to withdraw funds, then we will automatically reject your API key and ask to change your permissions.

This security measure also prevents any internal or external threats associated with API key management. More about the security in the following article.

There is only one exception where we request to access your wallet - is when you are trading on the decentralized exchanges. Unfortunately, this is inevitable because trading happens directly from your wallet.
