What documents are accepted as valid proof of address or residence.

Accepted documents

A proof of address (or proof of residence) is a document that allows Bity to verify that you reside at the address provided during registration.

To be accepted, the document must:

  • be issued within the last three months,

  • clearly show your full name,

  • clearly show your full residential address.

If a bank statement is provided, the IBAN or bank account number must be visible, along with at least some account activity.

The following documents are generally accepted:

  • utility bills (electricity, gas, water),

  • landline or mobile phone bills,

  • bank statements,

  • official residence certificates or government-issued address documents (where applicable).

All documents must be clear, complete, and readable.
