Do I need to have TRX available for transactions on the TRON network?

Yes. Any transaction made on the TRON network, including external withdrawals, requires the sending address to hold enough TRX to cover network fees. BIX covers transaction costs on most blockchain networks, but TRON is the exception, so you must maintain your own TRX balance.

TRX covers network fees on TRON

All transactions on the TRON network, including deposits and external withdrawals, require the sending address to have enough TRX to pay the network fees.

TRON is the exception

On most blockchain networks, BIX covers transaction and network costs. However, this does not apply to the TRON network, so the sending address must hold sufficient TRX for the transaction to be processed successfully.

Before depositing or withdrawing on TRON

If you plan to make deposits or withdrawals using the TRON network, keep this requirement in mind before initiating your transaction.

Do this: Maintain enough TRX in the sending address to ensure your transaction can be completed successfully.
