About

Blackbell lets you create advanced booking wizards so that when a customer wants to book a service, he is requested to go through some booking steps. Use our booking wizard to:

  • Collect all the information needed to deliver the service

  • Upsell

  • Capture customer's signature if needed

Options available

You can add the following steps as part of your wizard:

  • A booking form

  • A text area

  • A special form called the participant booking form

  • A location module to let the customer add a delivery address

  • A schedule module to let the customer plan his service or pick among predefined availabilities (See Calendars)

Example of a booking form

---

1 - The booking form

You can build forms with different types of components:

  • 1 - checkbox: customer has to select the right option

For this option, you can define if there is a price associated. Thus, by checking the box, the associated price will be added to the total cost of the product or service.

  • 2 - quantity picker: customer has to select the quantity of an option

For this option, you can define if there is a price associated. Thus, by picking the correct quantity, the associated price will be added to the total cost of the product or service. You can also define a minimum and maximum quantity.

  • 3 - text input: it is a free text area

For this option, you can specify the type of text input that can be entered: any text, phone number or email.

  • 4 - capture signature: customer must sign to give his approval

  • 5 - upload image: customer can upload to image

You can mix those 5 types to make a list

More about the "Booking form"

On top of each option's specs, you can define for the list itself:

  • MIN to be selected across the list

  • MAX to be selected across the list

---

2 - The text area

You can add a text area as a step in the product or service booking process.
This is a good way to ask additional information to your customer.

---

3 - The participant booking form

You can create a specific type of product or service for a given scenario where price depends on 2 variables. For example:         number of people and number of hours.

---

4 - The location module

For services that require the customer to select a location for pickup / delivery, we let you add a location module to your product or service booking wizard.

The customer will be able to edit the address during the booking process.

---

5 - The schedule module

You can add a schedule module to your service booking wizard and therefore have your customers specify the date and time they want the service to be delivered or rendered.

There are 2 cases:

  • Accept orders ANYTIME

This means customer can book anytime in the future.

Use case: booking a transportation for a specific date / booking a wake up call

To do so, simply add the "Schedule" step.

  • Accept orders based on one or multiple calendar availabilities

Customer will see available slots and you will be able to better manage operations.

Use case: Ordering a yoga class / ordering room service...

Here, you must refer to the following article: How to setup calendars
