About

As a host managing a network of sites (apartments / buildings...), you may want to control which site sees which page. This article explains you how.

How to

A page can be visible to all users OR only to users staying in one / some specific locations.
By default, a page is visible by ALL.

To limit the visibility of a page, follow the following steps:

  • Select your business type to be one of our host types (E-Commerce > Settings > Platform Setup > Business type). But don't select "Residential Condo" which has a particular behaviour.

  • List all your sites under E-Commerce > Manage > Setup > Apartment Listing

  • To limit the visibility of a certain page, goes to edit the page and under the section "visibility", limit the audience to some sites.

What is the experience for the end-user?

When opening your platform, the end-user will be invited to select his apartment / site from the list you created.

Upon selection, he will only see the pages that you want him to see.

Illustration

Here in an illustration of a company managing a network of apartments in Antwerp.
The company wants each guest to only see information relevant to his apartment.

She created a folder "My stay" where she added multiple apartments pages, one per apartment. She restricted the visibility of each page to one site only.

  • What the folder "My stay" is made of

  • What resident from "Antwerp central 201" sees when opening the folder "My stay"
