About

To add a live chat to your platform, you must first setup chat groups. 

Once you setup chat groups, a chat window will be displayed at the bottom right of your platform, making it very easy for your visitors to get in touch with your team.

⚠️  As of now, live chat is only available for signed-in users 

"Chat groups" are displayed inside the chat window, allowing users to select who to talk to.

Behind every chat group stands one or several team member(s). Team members are directly notified as soon as a message is sent via the chat window.

Details

For each chat group, you must:

  • add a name: displayed on the chat window

  • associate team members: who will receive notifications when a user sends a message via the chat window

  • add an image: also displayed on the user chat window > This is optional. If no picture, a letter will be displayed.

Prerequisites

  • As you might have understood, chat groups are made of team members... Therefore you first must create your teams members to be able to associate them to specific chat groups. Check out our article on how to add team members.
