When processing a Customer Order Unit Deal, options added to the deal normally require you to commit those options and follow the standard workflow — creating a Deal Service and/or Deal Merchandise, then finalizing each section after parts arrive and technician time is recorded. The Quick Fulfil Deal Unit Options feature lets you bypass this workflow and create and close out the Deal Merchandise and/or Deal Service in a single action, when the right conditions are met.
Before You Start
Two settings must be enabled before this feature is available.
The feature must be turned on in System Settings > Settings & Controls — enable the Allow quick fulfilling of deal unit options setting. For more information, see System Settings > Settings and Controls (no longer available).
The user must have the Quick fulfill deal unit options User Permission enabled. This permission is available to the Admin User Permission Group only.
Requirements for Quick Fulfil
The Quick Fulfil option only becomes available when all of the following conditions are met on the Unit Deal.
The Unit Deal is in In Progress status and the options have not yet been committed.
All parts added to the Options & Fees section are in stock.
No technician time is required on any Labour line.
How to Use Quick Fulfil
Once the requirements above are satisfied, follow these steps to quickly fulfil the deal unit options.
1. On the Unit Deal, click Options: REQUIRED. The Option Status dialog opens.
2. Click Quick fulfill options.
3. Blackpurl runs a series of verification checks automatically.
4. Once the checks are complete, Blackpurl automatically creates and closes out the Deal Service and/or Deal Merchandise sections.
What Happens Next
After the quick fulfil process completes, the Unit Deal Options status changes to Fulfilled. The only remaining step is to close out the Unit Deal section itself.
