The Blackpurl Homepage is your starting point in Blackpurl. It displays cards of information relevant to your daily work, and each user can customize it independently to show exactly what they need.
Homepage Overview
The Blackpurl Homepage is made up of four key areas:
A. Blackpurl Header | The navigation bar available on every screen in Blackpurl. For full details, see Blackpurl Header and Workspaces Reference. |
B. Homepage area | Your personal homepage. Each user's homepage is different because you can customize it to show what you want to see on a daily basis. |
C. Information cards | The cards of information you have set up to display on your homepage. These update to reflect your customization choices. |
D. Customization controls | Two controls that let you choose which cards appear on your homepage. See the Customization section below for details. |
To return to your Blackpurl Homepage from any screen, click the Blackpurl logo icon or click Your Home in the Blackpurl Header.
Customizing Your Blackpurl Homepage
You can customize your homepage using either of the two customization controls (marked D on the homepage). Clicking either control opens the Customize panel, which lists two sections:
Available Cards — cards that are available to add to your homepage
Current Cards — cards currently displayed on your homepage
The panel only lists cards for features you have user permissions to access.
Adding and Removing Cards
Use the checkboxes in the Customize panel to control which cards appear on your homepage:
To add a card, check the checkbox next to the relevant item under Available Cards, then click Add.
To remove a card, uncheck the checkbox next to the relevant item under Current Cards, then click Remove.
After making your selections, click Apply to save your changes. Your homepage will update immediately to reflect the new card layout.
