Blackpurl Homepage Overview and Customization

Learn what the Blackpurl Homepage shows and how to customize it to display the information you need each day.

The Blackpurl Homepage is your starting point in Blackpurl. It displays cards of information relevant to your daily work, and each user can customize it independently to show exactly what they need.

Homepage Overview

The Blackpurl Homepage is made up of four key areas:

A. Blackpurl Header

The navigation bar available on every screen in Blackpurl. For full details, see Blackpurl Header and Workspaces Reference.

B. Homepage area

Your personal homepage. Each user's homepage is different because you can customize it to show what you want to see on a daily basis.

C. Information cards

The cards of information you have set up to display on your homepage. These update to reflect your customization choices.

D. Customization controls

Two controls that let you choose which cards appear on your homepage. See the Customization section below for details.

To return to your Blackpurl Homepage from any screen, click the Blackpurl logo icon or click Your Home in the Blackpurl Header.

Customizing Your Blackpurl Homepage

You can customize your homepage using either of the two customization controls (marked D on the homepage). Clicking either control opens the Customize panel, which lists two sections:

  • Available Cards — cards that are available to add to your homepage

  • Current Cards — cards currently displayed on your homepage

The panel only lists cards for features you have user permissions to access.

Adding and Removing Cards

Use the checkboxes in the Customize panel to control which cards appear on your homepage:

  • To add a card, check the checkbox next to the relevant item under Available Cards, then click Add.

  • To remove a card, uncheck the checkbox next to the relevant item under Current Cards, then click Remove.

After making your selections, click Apply to save your changes. Your homepage will update immediately to reflect the new card layout.
