Overview
Fusion Benchmarking is a reporting tool for Australian Harley-Davidson dealerships that generates a CSV file of dealership data for submission to Harley-Davidson Australia. This article covers how to review your Fusion mapping setup and how to run the report each period.
Setup
Your Blackpurl Activation Specialist will configure the Fusion Benchmarking mapping during your activation. If you need to review or change your mapping after activation, follow these steps. If you are unsure what any mapping settings mean, contact Blackpurl Support before making changes — they can walk you through what was configured at activation.
To review your Fusion mapping settings:
1. Click your Profile icon in the top right corner of Blackpurl, then select Settings.
2. From the System Settings Dashboard, click Fusion mapping.
3. Your current mapping configuration is listed on the Fusion mapping page. Each row maps an HDNET category to a corresponding Blackpurl data source.
Running the Fusion Benchmarking Report
Once your mapping is configured, run the Fusion Benchmarking report from the Blackpurl header by navigating to Tools > Fusion Benchmarking.
The Fusion Benchmarking page requires you to manually enter several values about your dealership for the period you are reporting on. Complete each field before running the report:
A. Run Report For | The month and year you want to run the report for. |
B. Working Days in this Period | The number of working days in the period, accounting for public holidays and any weekend work. |
C. Employee No: Sales | The number of employees working in a sales capacity. |
D. Employee No: Service Technical | The number of employees working in a service technical capacity. |
E. Employee No: Service Non-Technical | The number of employees working in a non-technical service capacity. |
F. Employee No: Parts | The number of employees working in your parts section. |
G. Employees No: Administration & Other | The number of employees in administration or other roles. |
H. No. Salespeople | The total number of salespeople at your dealership. |
I. No. Insurance Contracts Written | The number of insurance contracts written during the reporting period. |
J. No. of Working Days | The total number of working days in the period. |
K. Average Technician Prime Labour Cost | The average technician labour cost for the period. |
Once all fields are complete, click Run the Report. Blackpurl will generate a CSV file containing the data required for your Fusion Benchmarking submission to Harley-Davidson Australia.
Review the CSV file carefully before submitting it to Harley-Davidson Australia.
