Why Do I Pay For My Wine In The Month Before It Is Shipped?

Payments for monthly subscription packages are processed in the month prior to delivery.

Updated over a week ago

When you join WineCollective, you will pay for your first shipment when you sign up. Your initial payment is for the wines that will be shipped to you in the middle of the following month. For all consecutive months, our payment processing date for recurring members is the 15th of the month, for the following month's wine.

Your payment is processed a month in advance because we require this confirmation that you would like the next delivery before we order your wines. We only order enough wine to send to our members, with very few leftover. Because we do not produce the wine ourselves, we need to know in advance how much wine is needed to ensure everyone receives a package.

Once we have processed your payment to confirm your order, your wine will be shipped to us, and then we begin assembling your WineCollective package. This process takes time, but we try to ensure that you receive your wine as quickly and efficiently as possible.

If you would like to start trying new wines right away, we invite you to shop at our online store. With your WineCollective membership, you will receive a discount of 20% off retail value. Orders from the WineCollective store are shipped weekly, Monday-Friday, weather permitting.
