Shipping Surcharges

What are surcharges and how are they applied?

Updated over a week ago

As promised on our website, Canada Craft Club does cover the base shipping rate for all of our packages. We have determined that the average shipping cost to our customers is around $15-20.

There are certain areas where additional shipping surcharges may apply. Any additional surcharges are determined based on the delivery postal code, where the cost of shipping to an area surpasses the average cost of shipping to the majority of our members.

We want to be completely transparent with our shipping costs and what is included in your package price. Shipping alcohol is not the same as shipping a monthly sock subscription, the weight and size of the package costs a bit more. Plus, there is insurance on liquid contents, additional fees for residential delivery, and requiring an adult signature for delivery.

Because of our great, growing membership - the Club is able to secure better rates with couriers to keep our costs down and make sure that shipping you beer is more economical.

The surcharge is calculated at checkout based on the postal code you have entered. You may be charged a surcharge on your shipping if your postal code costs more than 30% of the base shipping cost. You will see the final price, including the surcharge before you finalize your payment.
