How does trading on Bladebinge work?

When making an offer to another seller, You may elect to offer a trade for any items you currently have for sale on Bladebinge.

In order for this option to be available, both users involved in the transaction must have the 'enableTradeOffersOption' enabled in their preferences.

Trading rules & guidelines

Trade Item Eligibility

Your items are trade eligible when

  • the item has been publicly available on the Bladebinge marketplace for at least 24 hours

  • the item's sale price has not been modified for a span of at least 24 hours

Pricing Rules

  • Trades may not be offered for less than 50% of their public sale price on the bladebinge marketplace

Trade and Offer Value Determination

  • Bladebinge's commission and fees will be charged to you based on the offer or trade item's trade-basis-value and any shipping. This amount will be the higher value of the price you set for the trade when making your offer, or 50% of the publicly available price for the item on the public marketplace

Disabling Trading

  • You may disable or re-enable both offers or trading at any time in your user preferences by setting their respective preferences checkboxes.
