This article provides a high level overview of all of the functionalities which are present in the "Blanco Professional Portal". This is the back office system that is used by the clients from Blanco who have purchased our platform and from where they can manage all prospects that are in the process of being onboarded, or that have already been onboard and that have been turned into clients.

After logging in to your environment you would see the following screen:

We will now explain the different functionalities:

1) Prospect overview dashboard: The dashboard gives you an overview of the amount of registrations over the past months, divided into the different sub-categories, being:

             - Individual registrations
             - Joint registrations
             - Business registrations

In addition, you will see the status of the most recent registrations.

2) Prospects: By clicking on this module, you will be able to go to the overview page (where you are currently on) or add a new prospect.

Note: Our solution covers multiple user journeys so that we can satisfy all of our clients' needs. These user journeys are the following:

  • In case you want that your clients do most of the "heavy lifting" then you will let them complete the onboarding process fully digital through our prospect portal. You can then monitor the registration in the professional portal and complete the case by doing the due diligence check (if required), or by sending the contracts.

  • In case your client is a very high profile client that you do not wish to bother with the administrative burden of onboarding himself, then you can do most of the heavy lifting by adding his registration directly in the professional portal. You can finish all of the steps and simply send the contracts to the client for signing.

  • Finally, there is also a hybrid version where, for example, you can start the registration and invite the client to complete certain steps, like, for example, the risk questionnaire since you cannot do this on behalf of someone else.

3) Clients: By clicking on this module, you can see an overview of all of your clients, import clients through a csv. uploader, or bulk upload documents to all of your clients.

Note: The clients section is a separate module that Blanco offers to its customers, and is optional. In case you want to keep track of your clients in our platform then this is the module that you need. Within this module you will find all the details of your clients, documents which they (or you) uploaded, trigger the yearly KYC review process, sign newly added contracts and more. Finally we also deliver a continuous monitoring of your clients against international sanction list, PEP list or adverse media within this module. Be compliant at all times!

4) Inbox: Here you will receive any notifications that have been generated by the platform. For example, if the ID card of one of your clients is expiring then you can receive a notification on this. Or, in case you need to trigger the yearly KYC renewal process for client X then you can get a message about this.

5) Settings: In order to make our platform extremely flexible for different users we have a lot of options to tailor the platform to your needs. Within this article we won't go into the details of all of these settings.

6) Languages: Our platform is multi lingual. At the moment we have the following languages setup in our platform. If your language is not in the list, don't worry we can set this up for you:

  • Dutch

  • French

  • English

  • German (In progress)

7) Profile settings: In this module you can view your profile, change your password, and change your Multi-Factor Authentication settings. In case you do not wish to receive SMS codes, you could change your settings and use an Authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy, ..):

8) Chatbot: In case you have any questions, then you can either take a look on the "Blanco Helpcenter" or reach out to one of our colleagues from the "Customer Success" team as they will be more than happy to help you out with your questions:
